I have been both a patient and friend of Dr. Christopher Walker for the last 20 years. I know him to be a man of deep faith, always walking with God by his side. I know and can vouch for his character. As a physician and friend, Dr. Walker always takes time to listen. He gears his practice to functional medicine, listening and learning about the patient to assess the underlying cause rather than jump to medical conclusions that involve writing prescriptions that just mask or band aid the issue or sentencing the patient to surgery. Recently I came to see Dr. Walker (Dr. Chris as his patients call him) because of severe knee pain issues. My orthopedic doctor has been injecting me with cortisone for some time now and pushing me towards a total knee replacements in both knees. I am searching for a more homeopathic solution, not an invasive solution, that will render this very active 71-year-old useless and out of business for 6 months to a year! During my visit, I shared all my anxieties and concerns with Dr. Walker. He warmly shared that there were other options available… a valid alternative to knee replacements. Dr. Walker shared his extensive knowledge and research on use of stem cells as a means of regenerating cells. This alternative would regenerate my joints, grow back the missing cartilage, reduce swelling, and remove the pain….with NO SIDE EFFECTS and NO DOWN TIME… simply by using my own blood cells. I have been seeing Dr Walker for about 4 months now, I originally came in as I was experiencing blood in the urine, I was sent to urologist......but every urologist I called was booked for 3 months.
